Pinetops is on the Raleigh-Greenville Corridor, located centrally between Greenville, Wilson and Rocky Mount. Pinetops offers a wonderful quality of life, with a three campus school system, a variety of businesses, heart warming churches and friendly people.
Pinetops is a quaint town in southern Edgecombe County. Founded in 1901, the Town was incorporated in May 1903 as a rail station. We grew with businesses as merchants choose to locate near the railroad line that took people and goods between Tarboro and Farmville.
Henry Bridgers purchased a one (1) square plot that would define the Town limits. Since that time, the people of Pinetops have been an intersection of commerce in Edgecombe County.
